Sohini Singha Mojumdar
Meet RSMM's trophy, Sohini Singha Mojumdar from Kolkata, India. Sohini is an upcoming and a newly budded Indian Sub-Continental/Hindustani Classical Singer.
Having learnt Indian Sub-Continental/Hindustani Classical Music from a tender age of four, she is well adept in performing the other Indian Sub-Continental/Hindustani Classical Vocal genres such as Thumri, Ghazal, Bhajan, Geet etc with ease.
Her gurus and teachers have been enlisted in her short description at the homepage, in addition, she was initiated into the Indian Sub-Continental/Hindustani Classical Music by her maternal grandfather, the late Rabindranath Chattaraj.
On the academical side of Sohini, she holds a BA(Hons) in English with simultaneously an MBA in Human Resource Management. Furthermore, she has achieved a MA(Hons) in Indian Sub-Continental/Hindustani Classical Vocal.
She has won many accolades, to name a few, "Khazana Artiste Aloud Ghazal Talent Hunt" in 2019 and "SAMMAN" in 2020, amongst many others. Even today, she continues to polish her art, which has landed her a lofty 'A grade' level of singership at the All India Radio since 2011.
Sohini, currently, continues to keep her Indian Sub-Continental/Hindustani Classical Vocal excercises regular. In addition, she has many next generation of students, to whom she imparts Indian Sub-Continental/Hindustani Classical Music with credibility.

Noshi, the writer, threads down memory lane. Whilst reminiscing, she laments "this heart of mine, doesn't forget his loves, alas, i was always habituated to him". She professes her anguish barely in this Ghazal but also lets into her dependence on her love also.

Jab Dil Ki Rehguzar Pe
"When on the pathway of the heart, your footprints were'nt seen, to live was a desire" states Ada, the poetess. This Ghazal is an example of how a narrative, character and emotion confluence together to express a forlorn lover's plea.

Tanha Khade Hain Hum
The writer, Shabnam, laments "standing alone in the public, what to do? there's no buyer of sadness here, what to do?". In this Ghazal, she shares her failings in the way of love and its expectations, how does one overcome such?.

Dushman-e-Jan Kayi Qabile
Noshi, the poetess, is referring to her love as an enemy, she says "the enemy of my life, has seperated into tribes, still, the scent's hands are stained yellow". In this Ghazal, she refers to the pinement caused by love, the need to inform the love of the mismatch of perceptions.

Badal Chuki Hai Har Ek
While reminiscing the tumultuous past, the writer Shabnam, revisits her current stance "changed are every etched memory, my face also, all the dreams of the days gone and its reality". Her emotional anguish seeps right through this Ghazal.

Kehte Hain Ke Ab Hum Se
"They say, there are far more sinners than you, there was a sole rite to loyalty, alas, there are many more loyals than you". The penner, Ada, confronts her relationship, not withstanding any speck of disloyalty, by expressing that the self is more than enough to survive.

Jo Dil Ne Kehi Lab Pe
"Look, what the heart has accepted, but hasn't come on the lips yet, now, in the gathering of friends, there is also loneliness" cries the writer, Zehra. She colours her depiction of melancholy in this Ghazal, where she is in love but the other is shy and unrelenting to accept.
