Being taught Indian Sub-Continental/Hindustani Classical Music from a young age, she found herself under the tutelage of stalwarts mentioned at the homepage's short description. Furthermore, she has an ear of a melophile, and continues to get guidance from listening to other legendary Singers.
She is adept in singing many other genres of Indian Sub-Continental/Hindustani Classical Music, including, Tappa, Dadra, Thumri, Ghazal etc. Swarn prides herself in singing a variety of such genres, as they further add to her repertoire.
Swarn has been proudly awarded with a BA(Hons) in English, in addition, to a PA(Hons) Diploma in Electronic Media. She has also been affiliated with a Gandharva Mahavidyalaya graduation in Indian Sub-Continental/Hindustani Classical Music.
She flyingly serenades her achievements with winning first position at Shri Harivallabh Sangeet Sammelan in 2011. She has earned many first positions at many other festivals, including All India Classical Music Competition etc. Swarn has been awarded from many prestigious bodies such as Uttar Pradesh Sangeet Natak Academy, among others.
Currently, Swarn teaches Indian Sub-Continental/Hindustani Classical Music to students from all over the globe with diligence and perseverance. Her routinely Indian Sub-Continental/Hindustani Classical Vocal practice is a daily must, further strengthing her singing abilities.
